My stay at Delta Hotels By Marriott Swindon was a mix of positives and some drawbacks. The customer service stood out as the most really good aspect; the staff truly made an effort to ensure we felt welcome and taken care of. Our breakfast experience was excellent with a great selection, but I did notice the rooms are somewhat dated and could use some sprucing up. The temperature in the changing room was quite cold, and the leisure suite definitely needs an update. Overall, despite a few issues, I’d consider staying here again. 😊

I had a pleasant stay at Delta Hotels By Marriott Swindon, although there were some aspects that could be improved. The rooms were clean and the overall environment was nice, situated in a location with greenery, which was a lovely contrast to the urban areas we had visited. However, I found the dining options to be a bit inconsistent, especially during breakfast when the hot food was often lukewarm.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious and well-kept, though I noticed a couple of small issues, like a lack of a mini-bar and the window only opening slightly for fresh air.
Service
8.0
The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, going out of their way to assist me. However, there were occasions when I felt the service was stretched, particularly during busy times.

While the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the food was generally good, I found the breakfast buffet to be disappointing with lukewarm food on occasion.

The leisure facilities looked good, although I didn't get to use them much. The hotel offered ample parking which was a plus, but there were some delays with the lifts that could be improved.

I had an interesting stay at Delta Hotels By Marriott Swindon. The customer service stood out, with friendly and welcoming staff. However, I was disappointed with some aspects of my room, including cleanliness and noise issues from the heating system. Overall, the hotel offered a pleasant atmosphere and good leisure facilities, but there are certainly areas for improvement.

Rooms
5.0
My room was spacious, but it needed better cleaning. I found the décor peculiar with a lack of main lighting, and the noise from the heater was disruptive at night. The bathroom, while clean, had some small issues like missing toiletries.
Service
9.0
The staff were excellent - friendly and attentive throughout my stay. Their customer service made a significant positive impact, especially at reception.
Location
7.0
The hotel is ideally located for traveling, conveniently accessible from the M4. I enjoyed views of the Wiltshire hills from my room, even if the immediate area felt somewhat dated.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide range of options, although dinner proportions could have been more generous. Overall, the dining experience was very good, especially with the made-to-order items available.
Facilities
6.0
The leisure facilities were well-maintained, including a gym and a comfortable pool area. However, I found the pool rather small and sometimes unavailable due to classes.

5.8/10

My stay at Delta Hotels By Marriott Swindon was a mixed experience. While the rooms were clean and comfy with generous storage space, the dining options left much to be desired, especially for a group on a coach trip. I enjoyed the comfortable beds and amenities like the pool, but the slow service during breakfast and some issues with lift accessibility dampened the experience. Overall, it's a functional hotel for a short stay, but there are notable areas for improvement. 😊

Rooms

Most staff were friendly and attentive, but I noticed some delays and a lack of support during busy breakfast hours. In particular, the slow replenishment of food was frustrating.
Location
6.0
The hotel is on the edge of town, which wasn’t ideal for me since I expected to be more central. However, it offers good access to the surrounding area with a car.
Dining

I found the dining experience disappointing, especially during our group dinners. The food quality was poor, with some items like the soup tasting subpar. The breakfast had a decent selection but was often busy.
Facilities
6.0
The pool and spa facilities were nice and offered a good opportunity to unwind. However, I encountered accessibility issues with one lift being out of order during my stay.
